Wonderful pictures! I especially like the black and white ones. It looks like you had a wonderful time. With all the crazy things going on in the Middle East, Chris and I have been thinking of you and hoping all is well. Stay safe!

Thanks, Lynette!
We're staying safe, here. We can't go to Bahrain anymore ... a tragedy for us but our "sufferings" (in not being able to enjoy to great places of Bahrain) are small compared to the problems in that country.
The Saudi king is making wise leadership moves and seems to be keeping the general population very content.
Jim says "hi!" to you and Chris.

Well, that settles it - now I have no need to go to Paris. I've just been there! You are a gifted photographer, my friend, and I am the richer for your generous sharing of that gift. Thanks for the beauty I found on your blog today! And picking camel out of one's teeth? I'll be sure to carry a flosser next time I'm in the middle east!

Zona,
Your words are so encouraging! They spur me on. I've actually just started photography lessons from a gal, here. I'm on lesson two and have learned heaps already! And now I'm learning about my camera's limitations and all of the potential with even better equipment. But, I'm also learning about ways to better utilize the camera and lenses that I've got.
And the camel ... it tasted like chicken! :-)
