I have come to the conclusion that tea drinkers are the world's best decision makers.
Just think of the crucial choices we face each day ...
Green or black?
Loose leaf or tea bag?
If loose: ceramic strainer, paper filter, stainless strainer, tea ball, ...?
Brewed in a tea pot or served individually?
China cup or mug?
If black tea: Earl Grey, English Breakfast, Ginger Peach, Blackberry Sage, English Afternoon, ...?
If Earl Grey: Stash's Double Bergomot, Twining's, Republic of Tea, ... or that great Earl Grey tea I found in Paris that was from Russia?
Cream, milk, sugar, honey, or pure?
Second cup?
Such great training for the greater dilemmas of life!

Actually, Sharon, even though I tease you about coffee, and I do prefer coffee, I really can't drink it much any more. So I have switched to tea after all! Costco sells a green tea that a Japanese friend says is more like real green tea than anything else she has tasted here, so I drink that often. But after drinking strong coffee all these years, I really like a strong drink. So for a large cup (mug) of tea I usually use one of the green tea bags and then add an additional bag like green tea kombucha or green tea goji berry or one of the rooiboos teas or another fruity strong flavor. There - you have my true confession!
... and even though, Zona, I complain about coffee -- God, in His wisdom, created me with a total distaste for the flavor. If not, I'd be a total coffee junkie and I'd own (or have lost) a Starbucks for sure!
Actually, I happen to think it's all about the caffeine. I'll take mine in coffee, tea, or pill form if no other way is available to get it in the morning. :)
I was looking up something about a science question one time (can't remember what the question was now)and came across a history time line for scientific inventions. There was one or two every decade or so in this area, then someone threw in the date of coffee being introduced to Europe, then after that, there was about 20 or 30 new inventions in this area every decade or so......hmmm, caffeine? I think so !!!
Linda, You're on to something, there! The modernized world owes it all to caffeine, aye?! A mind on caffeine is a powerful weapon, indeed.
